About Me

Hey! I'm Parth Asawa 🙂.

I'm a first-year CS PhD student at UC Berkeley advised by Prof. Matei Zaharia.

Before my PhD, I received my B.S. in EECS & B.S. in Business Administration as a part of the M.E.T. Program at UC Berkeley where I graduated with highest honors. During my undergrad, I was fortunate to work with Shreya Shankar and Prof. Aditya Parameswaran.

Research

I'm broadly interested in improving the reliability and capability of Artificial Intelligence systems to enable real-world deployments.

Currently, some areas I'm excited about include:

  • Synthetic Data Generation
  • Verification & Evaluation
  • Self-Improving Systems

    Industry

    I've worked on engineering at some great companies like Rox, Databricks, Robust Intelligence, and Amazon.

    I'm also a Visiting Researcher at Rox.
